Every quarter, together with Atlassian, we have a chance to work on anything that relates to our products and deliver it during the ShipIt Day, our 24-hour hackathon. Redesign an interface, rethink that feature that’s been bugging you for weeks, or bring to life an innovative non-IT idea. The challenge is that we have only 24 hours... to turn the idea into reality before show time!

Enjoy your Fridays' informal training or information lunch sessions where voluntary speakers talk about what they know well. It's also a friendly space for testing and improving new presentation topics before you deliver the talk to a wider audience.
Each Thursday at 9:30 am, the whole team meets with our CEOs for tea/coffee and doughnuts. We exchange news, announce praise for exceptional achievements or just lending a helping hand (a.k.a. Kudos). It's also time for discussing office stuff, validating gossip, and catching up with everyone.
When you feel that you need to reset for 15 minutes or just want to make your mind rest for a while without leaving the office, you can play ping pong or table football. You will always find someone willing to join you via our HipChat channels.
If your colleague did something you really appreciated or you think is awesome and deserves a proper recognition, you can give them kudos (from the Ancient Greek κῦδος). It can be for helping you with a project, living by the Spartez values, coming up with a great idea - you name it. We announce kudos on Friday at breakfast time. It's recognition and praise plus an online store voucher worth 100 PLN.
Not everyone aspires to a managerial position in the future. In Spartez you can choose whether you would like to grow to be a manager or a principal java developer.
Our core hours - when you are expected to be in the office - are from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. Once a week you can also work from home.
We have a generous budget of 500 PLN per person per quarter which is spent on various social events and is governed by respective team leads. We want our people to hang out together and build even better personal connections.
