The world celebrates The International Women's Day every year on 8 March. This is the day which honours and celebrates the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women across the world. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. 2018 marked 110 years of International Women's Day celebrations.
We started the tradition of celebrating this important day in a fun but impactful way, with the annual Spartez Ladies Night Out! This night out has been a calendar highlight for the last three years. This event, aimed at all the lady Spartans and the wives/ partners/ girlfriends of our Spartans, is a great way for all the ladies to connect and get to know each other while having loads of fun. This also gives them a chance to share experiences, make new friends and have fun over activities, good food and drinks.
Every year, we gather in interesting places and do something fun and learn something new and this year was no different. Based on feedback from last year, we decided to shake things up. We invited a well known dancer, Magda Soszynska to teach us some moves and our talented ladies choreographed a flash mob in less than 30 mins! Here’s what we achieved!
After a fun and energetic workout, we enjoyed an empowering presentation by Joanna Staniszewska, Mentor, Coach and CEO of You’ll Branding & Marketing. She spoke about SOFT analysis for women and how its ok to be who you are and get where you want to. She also spoke about how women can empower themselves to get to where they want to.
We then enjoyed a lovely dinner and connected with each other. Everyone got to know each other better and had a great evening catching up. And making new friends.
